He called me on 26/02/2023 from 17.00 on wards every 20 minutes or so till 20.00 hours i disconnected the. then around 15.00 hours he started calling again silent all the time this went on for 10 calls the i did not pick so blocked my land line by leaving phone off hook. Leaving un able to make receive calls.
Is a scam about covid plus a link.

Scam tried to rip my 94 yr old mother off by offering a pendant fortunate she live with us but we weren't there to stop her giving bank details out . Called the number and they put the phone down on us clearly a fraud from a foreign country. Called bank and blocked account from been ripped off by these disgusting evil cretins. Just got a call from this number, claiming they were Amazon Business and that our prime service is suspended. They need a payment of £95.00 to correct it. Sounds very 'Scammy' to me.

Caller from this number stated that hmrc were giving back tax paid on ppi claims. I was due over £6000! Proceeded to ask me help to fill R40 form, my date of birth and then my national insurance number. At that point I asked her to send me the form as I didn't want to give my details. I think this could be a scam.

Scam call pretending to be Virgin Media (broadband internet). Standard scam pattern. Voices/accents from Indian subcontinent but claiming western names ("Daniel", "Robert", etc). Presumably using in-country telephone redirection service so as to appear with 0161 prefix. Claimed "We are getting errors from your internet connection." Wanted me to download Anydesk software so they could take remote control of my computer.
