Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro. SCAM Automated call with an American accent. Said it was HMRC and I owed Tax.

SCAM - Tried to convince me that they were calling on behalf of a government debt consolidation scheme. When I said I wanted to check the validity of the company, they tried to convince me that they were genuine. I pointed out to them that any genuine company would be fine for their customers to do due diligence and that the fact they were trying to stop me doing that just screamed scam. They hung up on me.

This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.

Had ring me 2 days in a row. A man with a very strong Indian accent said he was ringing from O2 saying as a loyal O2 customer I qualify for a discount on my O2 monthly bill. When he started asking me to go into messages to see a text he was sending to me I decided it sounded dodgy and hung up. Today I just told them I don't believe they are ringing from O2 and told them to F off before hanging up.

ent call which is more worrying than a sales call. I tried to return this call but it was not accessible. The message was that I had rung a wrong number and I. My other phone there was no message just the bleeps to tell you it was not accessible. I won't bother with this I'll ring the police. This is utterly disgraceful and meant to worry the recipient.

Caller said they were from State Pension and asked too many questions. We just hung up. Please do the same for your financial security.
