I don't believe this is really MBNA, I believe it to be a scam and they have used a machine to copy the MBNA number. If this call is coming through on your mobile use a free app called Mr. Number, it will automatically block this and many other scam calls.

Just had a call from Caroline from UK Advisory Group -tel. no. 01454 412399 - telling about a cheque I'm going to receive from the Goverment which is repayment of erroneous bank charges. She asked me to give her some personal details for verification purposes and although I did they were all false. ???? Apparently I can now expect a call from her Financial Manager who will verify how much I will get. Can't wait to hear what this is assuming he calls that is!

Spencer at Santander. I also rang Santander on their normal number and the lady who answered stated they do have 055 numbers . It was in fact Santander in Gloucester. They are ringing all their 123 customers basically to advertise a link with Aviva
