This is nuisance call that I have received several times. Having several calls in the day from different numbers which are completely unknown to me and this is one of them
SCAM Asked if we were receiving nuisance calls. They said our “protection” was ending today. They would send us a box that would stop nuisance calls. They purport to be from TPS or similar. The Telephone Preference Service. Took a conversation to conclude it was a scam.
This call came into me whilst I was in the shower. The female operator started talking immediately, I had to really raise my voice to interrupt her call whereby I explained that I could not he at her as I did not have my hearing aids in, but was in the process of trying to put them in. My expectation was that she would hold on whilst I did that. Instead with no hearable comment the phone went dead. I felt she was extremely rude, I’m disabled, had got out of the shower to answer her call & Im deaf.

I have no clue who this is. They’ll ring my phone multiple times a day. The odd chance I do answer, I get nothing, just silence a bit of noise in the background then they’ll end the phone no matter how many times i say “Hello”.

SPAM The number seems completely bogus because they called me, and I tried calling them back twice or a number of times first of all withholding my number, and then I tried it from a regular number showing it, and there was no answer either. Indian 'lady' called saying they were Right Energy part of uk-talk offering wholesale energy rates. Asked where she was located, she said Birmingham. After stringing her along for 10 minutes I asked what was happening with the Bull Ring, she clearly did not know what I was talking about especially when I asked if that's where she gets the bullsh*t from. Then said she was in Kolkata (aka Calcutta) not Birmingham. Said that I was in London helping police with scam callers - phone went dead!
Called demanding a large amount in tax as stated I had invaded tax. Was transferred to pay it and did I'll go to the post office. Called HMRC. Nothing to pay. Do not trust!

Call from this number alleging to be a court enforcement officer regarding an unpaid advertisement debt. Definitely fraud and reported to Action Fraud and police. Tried to get over £2000 from me. Very personable bloke allegedly called Alan Wise. If you get anyone from this number, it is fraud. Don't pay and report.

Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. Someone called my landline on this number about 0815 this morning and it woke me up! No message left. It is a similar number to a couple of calls I have received this week. The previous callers claimed to be from BT, saying there was a problem with my broadband connection - which there isn’t and I told them so. It is likely a scam to get you to give information so they can hack into your system.

I gave my details to a Fake BBC New story on Facebook about trading software and this company keeps calling me. I have asked them three times to delete my contact details under the GDPR "right to be forgotten" and they simply get abusive.
