Twic today purporting to be telephone blocking service. When I asked how much, the phone went dead. On second occasion told them it was a scam and it again went dead.

Dangerous scam call pretending to be from HMRC. Threatening immediate arrest for non-existent unpaid taxes unless you give them an immediate payment. Just end the call, don t press any keys and if they leave a voicemail don t call it back. There will be no legal consequences, they re just trying to scare you.

This number phoned my mobile. I do not recognise it.

Well, after a couple of days of peace and quiet from this number.. they ve started again, with a VENGEANCE! I have reported them to EVERYONE they can be reported too, and now, im on plan B! FYI if you re on "talktalk" you can set up "last caller barring" which allows you to block up to 10 numbers from ringing you :) and its FREE!! im in the process of setting this up now, and hopefully it will stop all this nonsense! Email replied immediately saying wanted to do PayPal transaction in full no questions asked. I emailed back not interested in a scam. Reporting to PayPal. Don t touch with a barge pole definitely a scam!!!
