If you speak then the line is detected as 'a voice line' and logged, a scammer will then call you later! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! Does anybody recognise this, suspect, phone number, 02392379223, from which I received an automated call earlier this morning? The ‘female’ speaking voice, claimed to be from ‘AMAZON’, and wanted me to give, account, details. Needless to say , I hung up and did a ‘Who called me’ phone number search, which showed it was from the Portsmouth area, I wasn’t aware that AMAZON was based in the UK, let alone Portsmouth. All I can say is…….. BE WARNED!

They phoned me at 13.45 today. Silent call that hung up after about 10 seconds. On phoning the number back I am informed that it doesn't exist. Obvious scammers, just a pity I couldn't talk to them.

I am suspicious about this number. The person who called me on it said he was in London. This locator indicates the location of this number to be in Manchester.

Telemarketing. My mobile flagged the number as spam so I answered with my usual 'can i help you' and a woman asked for me, i replied again 'can i help you' and she started talking so fast about some sort of market research. TBH i didnt hear what she was saying cus she talked so fast! When i tried to interrupt her she said something like 'im going to call you everyday' then hung up. Ive blocked the number now.
