Fraud This number is being used in an attempted fraud. I received a letter purporting to come from Lloyds Bank referring to a conversation that had not taken place and asking me to complete and sign a form giving details of my back account, sort code and memorable wo. The letter looks genuine, uses a genuine Lloyds address and gives this number to call with questions.

This was a Bt internet scam call.
It is obvious that the firm making these calls is also manipulating this forum. Both are equally shite. In my case they have a pretend-itslocal pseudo number. Jail for you soon. Not soon enough.
A local phone number. Said they were BT and the usual there is a problem with your internet blah blah... concerned that now using local codes
This firm called regarding PPI claims, messaged requested I press a number to speak with some one. So I just hung up
