This number called just before 7.00pm saying I owed approx £86 for Amazon. When I redialled the number it said not recognised.

The caller said my Sky and tv equipment insurance had expired. Don’t have any. When l asked what he wanted me to do he said renew it. I asked again for whom he was calling - repeated the above. THIS was an automated call supposedly from visa debit department. As I do not accept normally get calls directly from visa I assume this was either a spam or scam call and put the phone down
They said they were from Amazon and I had a £900 transaction taken from my account he asked me to follow his instructions ( I did know it was a scam) I told him ok he said to put him on loud speaker and he was going to give me a 9 digit code to enter into my phone, I asked him if he could call me back in 10 minutes when my daughter is home as she works for the police he suddenly hung up.
