Date 16-12-19 10-40 am. Automated call said he was from BT. Wanted me 2 press button 1 to get technical help. Claimed my broadband would shut down. I did Not cll back as I could hav been charged money. Looks like a scam to me.

Hawkeye Agency cold calling about accident claims.

This number, and a few others like it, have been calling me at random hours of the night, and play an automated message claiming to be from paypal, and telling me that there is an urgent security issue, and I need to verify my account details. It s clearly not from paypal, and is a way of scamming people.

Asked to speak to the MD and when I asked who the company was she was calling from and what it was regarding she was rude and snapped why do you want to know, he will know? I told her to leave her name and number as it just felt like a scammer.

Called back (masking my number) only to hear a message say the number is not currently in use and is available for sale (BT might have something to say about that?!) and to contact a mobile number - I hung up - this needs to be followed up by someone

Can I just say that I have had a call from this number, and you all think it is due to having a quote / taking out insurance. I have never been on the website nor taken out insurance from more than so I don t think it is the actual company - don t end up cancelling insurance with them because of that.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Two different people have called me from this company over the past week, both pretending to be from EE and wanting to upgrade my "business contract" (I don t have one). I told them I wasn t interested but they were still quite aggressively selling, so I hung up and have now blocked the number.

These people called concerning PPI. I was foolish enough to reply STOP and it charged my 50 pence. Clearly, this is a scam and these people must be stopped before they de-fraud more users.

Man with Indian accent. Said his name was Jerry. Called me Mrs [first initial of my oh s first name + his surname] which anyone can look up in the phonebook. Asked me if I was this person. I didn t tell him. Said he was from the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). I just pressed the red button.
