Claimed to be from the telephone preference marketing service. Had lots of my details, tried to tell me that his company worked for BT. I got fed up. Told him I wasn t prepared to give him any details about card details etc and I could do what he was trying to do on my phone - which is exactly what I was going to do with his number. Notice I had a lot of calls from odd numbers today so perhaps the scam is to make lots of nuisance calls and then phone up and offer the service..

A lady (she was no lady) called me today (19/04/18) saying my tariff was about to go out of contract and had I received the new contract, which of course I hadn't. She didn't give me her name or the company she was representing. I ended the call, she then rang me back and left me the most rude message, it was so rude it was laughable. Was called from this number and the caller said the insurance on my washing machine had expired and needed renewing. I told him I'd never had insurance on my washing machine and they must have a wrong number at which point he cut the call. Obviously a scam.

Number came up on my phone as "Jack the box" (not promising, but also means they've listed themselves as a company I believe). Offering a competitive rate on my bushes electricity. I didn't believe him but told him he could email me the offer and I'd review it. He called back briefly afterwards to ask my name (which he spelt so wrong that I didn't correct it!) I told him I didn't want my email to be sold to anyone or that I didn't want to recieve 3rd party emails No email arrived

Two text messages from this number: 1) Saturday 28th January 2023 advising that Apple Pay temporarily suspended due to unusual activity and link provided to renew wallet. 2) Sunday 29th January advising that unusual activity occurred on at 4:34 AM and temporary suspension and same link provided. Obvious scam.

Fraud - I got a call from this number saying that a money from my account was sent overseas, ask me to press 1 to speak to them otherwise my card will be lock. Logically I hang up. I called back to that number- it comes as unrecognise. My bank will never call me for that!!!

They annoyingly ring quite often to try and sell goods on a pay weekly scheme. The goods have a cash price in the region of 250% of actual retail value and extortionate interest rates
