I couldn't tell hardly a word this character was saying. Sounded like a long distance call from India whilst he was wearing a big steel bucket on his head! I did pick one word which was "handset" at which I ended the call. My number is registered with the TPS but, as usual, that was a waste of time.

Called me 01778610108 n No one other side on answer.
Said he was my energy representative for my area postcode. I asked who he worked for, and after a pause long enough for it to be clear he wasn't going to answer, he continued with his script. I stopped him and asked again what company he was calling from. He then hung up! Clearly a poorly thought-out scam call!

Pretending to be from Virgin Media Cyber security department, informing me that there is someone in California using my IP address for illegal purposes, but he would help me sort it out. Refused to tell me the name on the account or the account number because it was a recorded call, having told me it was a secure line and that he would "prove" to me that he was from Virgin if I gave him the information he asked for.

SPAM SCAM Beware of this number, it called me with an automated voice saying that money was to be taken from my amazon account, 300 and 1200 pounds, I was suppose to click on a link number to stop the transaction but I hung up. I had received the same message 10 minutes before on a different number,
Number came up as spam on my mobile phone so I didn't actually answer any of the 3 calls I have had so far today and this is the first time I have been called by it. I'm an individual counsellor and this person 'Jack' texted me during my Christmas holiday. He pretended to be a client at first, and I responded in case he was a potential client in need. He then attempted to sell me his "automated systems to attract more counselling clients". I hate spammers who prey on therapists' good natures, and who disrespect our vacation boundaries. Don't fall for this.
