Claimed was from Carphone warehouse, wasted 30 mins of their time let them know i knew it was a scam and they got extremely abusive.
Suspected Scam I recieved a message from this number shortly after a private number phone call stating i had hit their car and left a message with my phone number (i havent hit any cars nor left my number) I then received text message asking why i hit their Car followed by another asking for my insurance details.

I was called by someone called Chelsea from carephone who offered me an upgrade phone. She also gave me the number 08448933933 if I had any problems. I did receive the phone but didnt like it. I phoned the number and gave up after 57 minute being on hold. They have been calling every few minutes for days. I have called TalkTalk, and have learnt that there is a scam being perpetrated which they are concerned about, so I would sugg...
Someone rang me from this number and told me that they had been in an accident and were going to bed. I have no idea who this person is and they left no name. What a nasty thing to do!
This number has called a number of times and left no message. Eventually, found it was the AA touting for me to renew my membership. Because of this calling practice they have lost my business.

In this case the email purported to be from HSBC informing me of a payment made on my card today. It had a helpful link to a site called cancel.banking-process, which funnily enough i did not click.

I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). This caller would likely be asking to speak with Mr Strevitt or Mr Gwendoline. As has been the nature of the calls for the past 3 years.
