This number phoned and a recorded message stated that it was my bank asking to verify that 2 payments made today were genuine and if not to press 1 to speak to a member of the fraud team. No name of bank given so I suspect it to be a scam.
Caller sounded foreign and claimed my BT internet had been hacked. He would call again he said as I cut him short. A technician is in the area he said and then told me my address with postcode. I am assuming it is a fraud

This number called me claiming to be bank security and that 2 transactions had been requested from my bank. One for Amazon for £200 and an international money transfer for £900. Press 1 to authorise or hold if you haven't made these transactions. I hung up.
This number called with with am automated message saying someone is trying to take money from my Visa card and to press number 1 to go through to the fraud line

Fraud The guy who was calling me, wasn`t understand what I had said, wasn`t able to answer my questions as from hi has my details, I`m sure they found it on my website., Had tried to said I`m already registered with them. SCAM claimed to be from Domestic and General, knew my name and address and what was insured. They said it had expired, it is continuous so I questioned it and I was passed to Supervisor who wanted me to get my debit card. I hung up. It was a call centre, both Asian accents. SCAM HANG UP
Claimed to be Rebecca Roberts, a recruiter from Reeds about a flexible remote role. No profile picture and number was under arts & entertainment. When told I work full time, received a copy and pasted answer about it being home-based which can be done at my convenience. Definitely not trustworthy.. One of those too good to be true scenarios but did eventually give up once I said I was not interested a couple of time

If the number is exposed, they just generate a new number and continue scamming people in the US. the actual number is mirrored to a us number to hide it's origin.

I had several calls from the company Web Security Experts with regards to renewing computer security, saying that 4 years ago I paid a membership fee, which I have no knowledge of knowing. They have threatened to take money from bank account. I searched from email and other correspondence from them but cannot find nothing. Got a call from this number on my mobile. Didn't answer as I don't know who'd be ringing me and I don't know anyone from Congleton - blocked the number. Never even heard of the place until now!
