Of course her majesty's government tend to ring from mobile phones and use recorded messages, rather than send any official documentation to you directly through the post (!). I hung up and have blocked the number.

This number is used along with other numbers with the area code 020 380 and in the range 70648 to 70653 from my experience. I believe the calls are made using VOIP via a service centre in the UK and appear to be calls coming from London, but actually come from Israel or Cyprus or Bulgaria. These calls are from OptionFM a binary Option trading scam operated by Banc de Binary based in Israel. SCAM It says it’s from Royal Mail, and that you need to pay for a delivery. There is a link to pay to but don’t . Definitely a scam and are probably after your credit card details. The Link is. HTTPS://safe-help-hub.com It came as a text and I have reported it to 7726 which is the UK reporting of unwanted texts number.

SCAM in my view - telling me they were calling about the warranty on my Bosch washing machine - it had expired and wanted to charge me £7 for it. I do not have a Bosch and the machine I have is at least 15 years old! English voice for a change. Apparently the manufacturer hands over the customers details.
