SCAM: Caller explained someone in Reading had created a fake Amazon account my name, & wanting to buy an iphone 12 which would cost me £700. They didn't think I had ordered it and so wanted to know if I was accepting the order or not. I said I was not giving anything out over the phone wother than I hadn't ordered the phone. He started giving instruction for me to access my laptop. He swore at me when I said I wasn't going to help and he hung up

This number called at 2:40pm on Friday 23/04/21. On answering a very loud noise was heard, the noise continued for about 20 seconds before the call was ended.
This number has madesilent phone calls to here several times, no-one ever speaks. They are a blasted nuisance.

This guy hacked my friends Facebook and sent me a message saying "hey can I ask you a massive favour? I m having trouble with my PayPal, can I send you my months wages, and meet you for it later?". I d know this guy 10 years, I had no reason to say no... but I was busy at work so I stupidly gave him my log on to sort it out himself, I only had £100 in there anyway. Insurance. Very suspicious. The caller claimed to be calling about renewal of an insurance policy on my washing machine. He sounded convincing until he said he wanted to confirm my bank details. I asked him to tell me what details he had and he said he didn't have that information and wanted me to give them to him. Naturally, I refused to do this and he quickjy terminated the conversation. This is probably an attempted fraud.
