Asian sounding gentleman called. He already knew my name, claimed to be from McLean Claims Service. Said he had a cheque from my bank for refunded bank charges and asked me to confirm my address. I told him I was not interested, thanks, and blocked and ended the call. Appears to be a scammer phishing for personal details.

Just 5 minutes ago. Marie Bardsley from Retro Specialists asking to confirm if I was involved in a car accident that was not my fault. Voice sounded too polished to be from a call centre and hung up before I could determine if it was a robot call. Blimey it must be busy this morning, I was called from 0118 328 0473. My phone number ends in 49403 so I wonder if it is dialling a sequence. Would be interesting if others left the last 5 digits.
