SCAM Called asking could I confirm if I had been involved in an accident (I hadn't). I asked not to call my number again, which resulted in further calls which I didn't answer. My number was illegally acquired from an ad which I had placed on the Gumtree website, so beware where you post your phone numbers to!

This is the second call today from 2 different nuisance callers! This one is regarding an accident that I haven t had. So I told them they are better off speaking to my Dad because he had an accident 36 years ago when I was conceived! They stuttered then hung up.

I man with a very strong accent (not English) yet goes by the name of peter asked for me by name when I said yes. He said I m calling from the bank and hung up. I ve had three missed calls from this number in as many weeks, I finally answered in time and it was someone from a local Honda garage (wirral based) asking about a car I had serviced with them recently, told them I d since sold it and they said they would update their records.
