At the end of the end ,whether you are a British Gas customer or not , if you have not given British Gas your permission to call you , then it is a harrassment call. The other thing to bear in mind is , unless you make the call , how do you really know who it is who has called you? I am a British Gas customer , but as far as I am aware have never given them my telephone number , so beware !!

My 12yr daughter has just come to me frightend to death by this so called prank accusing her of stealing his WiFi, What an idiot, this type of call should be illegal, calling children and other vunerable people. NOT FUNNY

A male with an Indian accent claimed that someone at my address had had a car accident and he would work with me to claim compensation. I don?t drive and I live in my own. It must be a scam.

Indian-sounding voice (female and obviously not very experienced) announced a problem with my BT broadband. I played along until she asked if I was in front of my PC. When I told her loudly I knew it was a scam, she told me to shut up several times. Ten mins later a male rang with the same story, got short shrift from me. Today it was this Brighton number, previously a Portsmouth one. I get these calls a lot!

Caller rings on average once a week, I will not answer it, if its important they ll leave a message on answerphone. I ve tried calling the number back but all I get is a recorded message saying this service is no longer available , very odd. Why don t they take the hint, I haven t picked the phone up because I m not interested in what they have to say and I really DON T want to talk to them - get loads of dodgy calls like this, really annoying

Cricklewood Locksmiths have again been out applying their antisocial stickers all over front doors, letterboxes, intercoms and door frames in my neighbourhood. The phone number printed on the stickers is 07932 961 616. After reading their reviews on Google, I ve come the the conclusion that not only are they using illegal advertising methods, they re also ripping people off by charging extortionate prices for sloppy and unnecessary work. Customers have complained of their so-called locksmiths drilling out l
