Number pretends to be HMRC calling about tax fraud registered against my name. Automated call, threatens you with imminent arrest if you hang up or don't press 1. Once you press one, a very deep Asian sounding accent answers and asks you for your details. Which they should have since they claim to have opened a case against you. SCAM Came up as Congleton on my number . Said he was ringing fro Three ( although might not be as his English was awful ) talked about a £40 voucher bla bla bla . Just said no thanks and terminated the call . Dam nuisance these type of calls .
Called and said I was entitled to saving on existing Sky Repair policy, reducing down to £90. Transferred to Billing department and after they confirmed my details asked for my bank card details. Very insistent on me providing these, however I refused to provide.

They verified my details, knew my name and every handset/plan I already had, and after a brief chat, concluded that I didnt need anything. I get these kind of calls 1-2 a year. They are a telesales company likely working with EE. There is a lot of negative comments, but this is the way the capitalist world you live in works. Accept you will get these calls, people trying to sell your something.
