There are some dodgy people going around London fixing stickers to peoples doorbells and front doors that say "24/7 LOCKSMITH 07379 253 353". There have been news reports that these type of stickers are used by criminals to identify which properties can later be burgled. This may or may not be the case with these stickers but any locksmith that advertises by sticking stickers on other peoples property without permission, are untrustworthy in my book. A person called Alan Wilkins purporting to be from the Telephone Preference scheme called to try and obtain my bank details. I asked him for verification and he gave me this number but when I dialled 1471 he had called from 02871030659 which unsurprisingly was unavailable. I called 02036305457 and the automatic answer said it was Telephone Preference Management. I put the phone down and a bit later they rang me back so I told them Iwas investigating who they were as I believed they were not who they said. T
