Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

Santander sent a text saying that a payee was connected to a unknown device. I think it is a scam text message. Blocked.

This number just called my landline, the lady claimed that she was from Sky and that it had been reported time that my sky broadband was not performing at the correct speed. She did not confirm any of my customer details. Then she asked me what devices were connected to the broadband and instructed me to go to the p.c, so tat I could adjust the broadband settings. This was a recorded message claiming to be from HMRC. This is clearly a scam as its a mobile number and HMRC would not contact people in this way.
SOME BLOKE AFTER MY DETAILS, JUST LEAVE THE PHONE OFF THE HOOK. ALSO AM A MEDICAL LINE SO THIS SOON CHANGED THE TONE.
