keeps calling my phone (3-5 times a day) doesn't speak when i answer nor do they leave a message very irritating and a waste of my time
Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

I was ignored when i requested to be taken off their call list. I was ignored when i said a had multiple health issues so cover would be worthless. Went dead as soon as I answered but this sounds like the same thing as reported on the media with Indian (or Indian subcontinent) scammers pretending to be from spoofing the number of an innocent guy in Wigan who has nothing to do with it.

You will only be called by this number if you have a Captial One credit card. It is there collections department. People rating this 9 are bad debtors and leaving poisoned reviews. I m rating 3 as even though they are a legitimilate caller, the volume of their calls can be tedious. To stop calls from this number, pay your bill on time.

Asked for me by my first name which I challenged as he did not know me and he went on to say it was a follow up call regarding an accident I d had in the last three years. Have blocked the call. This is the second call like this from a local number...I m guessing this is a new tactic.
