this number is driving me up the wall phone rings but as you answer phone goes dead so is now blocked

This number is a scam I think any one else had it

Keeps ringing then goes dead when you answer. When you ring back it s an incorrect number soaked.

They ve bought an out of date list of names and numbers and are calling purporting to be a legal team. They asked by name for someone who used to use this number > 10 years ago.

This is an accident claim experts number.

Chinese lady called me, spoke very quickly. Not sure she mentioned the company name or hers. Said would mail me tomorrow with details of a teaching job as she had seen my CV on a job website. Which one I would like to know as I specifically did not want my details passed to anyone but the job website and legit companies offering jobs that are relevant!

They called today at approx. 18.14. They wait until you say hello, then after a few seconds, they hang-up. When you ring back they say that they are a company blocking nuisance calls, but, I guess if they were, they wouldn t be doing it themselves and they would probably try and sell you something, not just hang-up

I rang Aberdeen Porsche Centre about a second hand car they had for sale, unknown and without my consent, they have passed my details on to an "Independent Review Provider" who rang me today from this number saying they were "calling from Aberdeen Porsche Centre" for some feedback regarding my enquiry with them. Disgraceful how companies are able to pass on personal mobile numbers to a third party without any consent.

These guys call saying they are from EE and offering special deals. Then they asked for my personal information. When I questioned why they needed my data they stated that the number they called on (which appeared on my handset) if listed on the EE website under the security section. I hung up and checked. No such number on EE s website, so I call a contact I have at EE and she checked and stated the number is most definitely NOT EE and I should not treat the call as an EE authorised call. Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.
