A foreign sounding voice asked me information about my computer, I refused to let them know anything as they sounded Eastern European, not Geordie if they came from Tyne and Wear.
Silent call - no one speaks
Automated call saying they are from HMRC and if you don't press one now a warrant will be issued against you for fraud. Total scam.... avoid at all costs and do NOT press one. Apparently if you do you your telephone bill will be charged an extortionate amount of money - not sure how much because, fortunately, I did not press one!!!

Received an email from ' PAYPAL' about a fruadulent activity of £899.99 I contacted the above number and they sent me a 6 digit security number to my mobile and also told me my last 4 digits on my card !!! All seemed very legit..........UNTIL he told me he needed my full card number to put a stop on a further 12 transactions !!! I rejected his request which he seemed to start getting annoyed and agitated !! THIS SEEMS A VERY PROFESSIONAL SCAM DO NOT REPLY TO THEM .

SCAM / SPAM Caller said he was from Domestic & General Insurance and was ringing as my cooker cover was due to expire - I've never had more than the standard warranty on my cooker, and it's older than the couple of years ago he said I'd taken out the policy. He knew my name and address and said the company was TPS compliant, but I'm TPS registered so that's a lie too.

I was asked to make a comment on a survey they are conducting about the UE referendum, I declined.
Keep getting calls and spoof texts, they claim to be Scottish Power but they are not. They tell me my number is linked o a SP account but I rang SP from their website number and they have advised me there is no account with my number. I cannot make them stop so having to change my number. It been happening for months but I ignored them until it ramped up to daily.
Took a couple of calls from these guys about 2 different main contractor projects. Decided to listen and they took me onto both project documents, one was too big for us but the other was just over their £50,000 banding and was local so we asked to price the work. Sorted the membership out and within 3 weeks our price was accepted and we start work in the first week of July.
