Phoned today at12.15 pm. Fairly gruff voice. Purportedly from BT. Asked me to confirm that I had been in touch with BT this morning. As I had, I said yes. There was some hesitation and a lot of background noise. I asked what he wanted. He asked if contact was by phone or mail (I think). I replied that the contact was on the internet and he abruptly ended the call.
Recorded message offering to replace my boiler for free! Five calls from them so far today, each from a different phone number but all with the same message. Calling them back p...
Apparently the guy - with the foreign accent, reckons that my windows computer has been sending his "tech guys" error messages for the last week. I told him that I would give him another message to log. I then told him to **** off. ;-p
