Call supposedly from British Gas asking if we were in the following day so engineer could check our appliances under the protection plan. I said I didn t think I had appliances covered, the caller said No you don t, it s to check your boiler I then said I din t think the check was due for another 3 months at which point they hung up. I note from answer machine that the same number called again later the same day. Suspect it is some sort of scam

Cold caller (I m TPS registered) asking about a car accident she alleged I was involved in. When I asked who she was and what company she was calling from, she asked if I d had any other forms of accidents. I asked again who she was calling from and she rang off.
