Fraud Pretended to be from Amazon, said there was a hacker in my system and wanted to have access to it to help sort it out. Refused, got aggressive when I said if he was from Amazon he should send an email to me from the email address held by Amazon.

Telemarketing STRONG Indian accent claiming to be from currys.co.uk offering 40% off handsets & plans. I simply said not interested & hung up. Totally out of the blue & I am on TPS, so shouldn't get ANY such calls. AVOID
Automated A Very annoying automated call. They call on average 4 times day. Starting at 9am. Never leave a message, never say who they are. I called them back using this number and an automated message says this telephone number has been discontinued as it has been reported as fraud.

You receive a genuine text message from O2 with a security code. Silent call - rang early morni9ng and when I picked up there was no voice, nothing. I said hello, but there was no reply - said it again and then the line went dead. Few people use our landline these days, and only numbers we recognise (family and friends) so I suspect this was spam.

I was called from this number this morning claiming to be from my bank. It was a recorded message and not a ‘live’ caller. I was informed there were two suspect transactions from my account and, if they weren’t from me, I should press 1 on my keypad. I hung up immediately, checked my bank account and saw that the transactions didn’t exist so I assume that this was an attempted scam.
