Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. Reading above it appears to be Oxfam, well I was trying to put up a light at home and had to stop because of the phone call, i answered the phone and the person put the phone down, thanks for wasting my time Oxfam.

Despite registration with the TPS, I had two cold calls about an alleged car accident in which I was involved but I do not own a car and certainly was not involved in an accident on the date claimed. The caller claimed to be from a company called Solicitors Law Firm and to have got details of my alleged accident from the UK National Traffic Department but as far as I can ascertain neither organisation exists. They witheld their phone number but claimed to be calling from 01527 821239.

i ve received a number of missed calls from this number. If I don t know the number, I don t answer it, on the basis if it s urgent/an actual call, they will leave a message. No message ever left.

I had letters and calls from Taurus which I stupidly ignored. I was taken to Court and at the hearing a hearing a gentleman advised me to discuss debt issues. He said Taurus Debt Recovery have a lot of account holders on benefits and they have a friendly and supportive team. I would encourage anyone with debts with them to talk to Taurus. If you don t contact them they will issue court claims and or issue bankruptcy.
