Received a call from this number today asking me for my work ID number. Refused to provide as the person who did not identify himself when calling my private phone number. Asked from where he obtained my number got no answer. When calling back, person did not take call. Going back to base explained the incident to my manager, manager called this number from the office landline caller took the call and was still demanding the ID number said he will get it anyway and hung up.

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. I had a call from 01926893111 which was probably a dentist with whom I had made a web enquiry. But I did not answer and they did not leave any message. I suspect that the number has been wrongly registered on your database as entering the number which called me brings me to this page.

Call today supposed to be from BT telling me my IP address was public and hey would make it private. 2 men in what sounded like a room full of people spoke to me. I sked where the were calling from and they gave me an actual BT address in London. I asked the guy if he was Indian and yes he was. I told him the 1st person I spoke with was India too. I asked him if this was a scam. I then heard someone say drop the connection. So looks like a scam to me.
Called twice - didn't recognize number so let it go to answer machine, which they then hung up. Now blocked number.
Supposedly Amazon Customer Services recorded message call saying a £700 order quoting a fictitious order number has been frozen, press 1 to cancell the order.

A guy with a strong eastern accent, called Jason, phoned me claiming to be from BT, claiming that my Internet address had become visible to everyone and that people would try to scam me. He wanted me to open Google but I said I couldn't. It felt like a scam of some sort.
This number is no longer J A Winward and Sons - Scientific Glassware. My dad was one of the "sons", (J A Winward was my grandad)... I don't know who is using the phone number now, but the premises is now an art studio called Red Door and they might still have the same phone number?

SCAM This person didn’t know who they were speaking to ( my name). Said I was eligible for a free medical emergency pendant… I asked how they had got my number and said was given them by manager. Just kept repeating his name and same phrase and not answering questions. If this is actually a real call it’s a weird way of going about things.
