Fraud Automated voice pretending to call from BT stating they are disconnecting your phone line due to lack of payments. Press one to talk to an advisor to pay the bill. My phone line is not with BT
these people phone at least twice a day (sometimes more) and ask for 'mr firkin'. ive asked for my number to be taken off there list but the calls keep coming.

SCAM - Automated call - they told me they were from my internet service provider (but didn't give a company name) and that there had been illegal activity so they were going to cut my service.. unless I pressed 1 to speak to an adviser.

Claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse offering me great deals on mobile contracts and phone with a very strong Indian accent. I let him babble on and on and when he's finished, I let him repeat the details by asking further questions. After that I told him that I'll get my mistress to go through the details and call back. He then gave me a number to call back which was 02036951143 together with his 'Agent ID'. I see that 02036951143 is another of these scamming numbers. Scammers!

I need to know if these people are scammers I I answered the phone and the lady called and said that it is regarding an insurance taken out on a television Three years ago.
Just rang twice, there is a pause then a recorded message tells me I can consolidate my debts! No real person.
PPI. They said it was called HELP YOUR CLAIM. I asked to speak to the manager and told them that my phone was registered to not receive cold calls, and asked them where they got my number from. They asked for my email address so they could let me know where they obtained my number from. I refused to give it, as next thing they will be sending me emails too. I used to donate, but was made redundant so cancelled. I have told them this but I get phone calls every few months. It s annoying because the money they waste on spamming everyone could be better used I m sure.

this number is from traveloptia . they sell tickets. after receiving money they don't contact you even tickets are not valid.
SCAM I was called from a lady called Lisa. She sounded Indian. Anyway I am lucky because I have been allocated a free discount card. Free, up to 40% off shopping, Tesco etc. Also they will send me free flight tickets for me and my family, anywhere in Europe. Didn't want my bank account no. just my sort code and account number. So they could credit me £1. I put the phone down. I wonder if I will get my free discount card in the post as promised.
