This comes up as a Liverpool number .of is a company dealing with PPI. Very polite young man who was straight to the point regarding what the call was for. After asking a few questions, the usual ones about whether I d had any loans, credit cards, catalogues etc, he said he would get the system updated so that they didn t call again. Just about the most polite call I ve ever had regarding PPI!!
Called asking for my wife (by Christian name) and in an English accent when I asked what it was in connection with he said it was about her Legal & General insurance policy...
Told me I had an accident in my car. This was news to me, maybe I did it in my sleep. Scam of some sort. They called themselves Acadamy Legal or something like that. This number is a local code to me, so I assume they can use local exchanges to fool you into trusting them more.
