We just received the same call from an indian sounding man - as soon as we mentioned we work in corporate IT he hung up - these calls are so annoying.

Said they were a company called Black Pearl - asking about my bank details etc. Obviously scammers for claims etc. Do not answer and block. Ofcom and TPS get on it and make some proper attempts to stop these nusisance and scam calls.

The first time they rang there was call-centre style background noise so I hung up before anyone spoke. Calling later in the day, a man started by being friendly "How are you today", but when his introductory spiel mentioned he d be asking questions to find my opinion, I interrupted him to say I don t do surveys. Some jack-off using this number called me this morning at 8:32am. I didn t take the strange call, and on finding out on here who these jokers are I very well might take their next call to make them totally aware they re pissing up the wrong tree. I don t have any debts at all, so they have no business calling me. I pity the minimum wage loser on the line that calls me next!

This probably isn't safe - the caller didn't even know or ask for my name, simply saying 'it's about breakdown insurance'. Laughable.
Scam or fraud. Please be aware. They say is calling from National insurance service because is som wrong activity in your NIN. When i asked what wrong is they ask for all my details. Don't provide any details.
