This is Addenbrooke s hospital appointments reminder department in Cambridge. You have to wait for a call back to confirm you are able to attend the appointment. They do tend to call at odd times but a sensible service. Just remember to bring your appointment card otherwise parking will cost you an arm and a leg. pun intended

Cold caller claiming I could get a tax rebate if I wash work clothes. Told her I was already aware of that fact and I didn t need some a**hole cold caller trying to scam me. She hung up! Oops, my bad!

Didn't catch supposed name of firm but cold call and SPAM usual 'calling regarding a minor bump you were in'. No such bump!

This company wanted details from me to compare energy providers. Told them I would use uSwitch. They said they use same engine and chased for details. I declined and told them I am on TPS list so shouldn t receive cold calls and that without my authorization it is illegal. This number called twice. Thanks to all on this site - I ignored both calls. As a personal policy, I don t answer calls on my mobile, cos I only give it out to family.....and in any case I only use it for texting.
