SCAM. It was an automated call with a blokes voice saying it was Sandra from Amazon calling about suspicious account activity and giving me an option of buttons to press to confirm activity or speak to someone.
SCAM / SPAM giving some bonefide password and card details leading to taking £99.99 from account as scam.....card and merchant blocked by bank quickly so no loss but could have been disastrous....chap called himself Ash from Community Call Prevention....beware

This people are south Asian (their tone is Indian like),They told they are are from Carphone warehouse. when i asked for email and they send me an email from : <[email protected]> which clearly states it is scam. Because if you see the domain name of the email, it is clear that its not carphonewarehouse. Very pushy salesman re replacement windows quoting something about a scappage scheme for windows installed pre 2012. Told him house was built in 2015 so I wasn t interested but he wouldn t accept this as a reason to decline. Still talking as I ended the call. Now blocked.

Just got my first one from this number this morning. Before I had chance to open they hung up. Glad I found some info before thinking about ringing them back. I don t know why the authorities don t ban people/companies who do this (i.e. dial and hang up so they will get paid by people trying to call back)

constantly calling, I constantly do not answer, I do not recognise the number, but I am anticipating it is a cold caller for boilers or ppi or accidents
I don t answer any of these numbers as I recognise the code but these people keep ringing me on my work number and I work for a bank! Not sure where they get their data from but doubt it s legit and they certainly haven t done their research first!
