Its not just AO I just received a call from a young woman claiming to be from boots appliances, in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact her sole purpose was to sell insurance cover! She repeated every detail of my delivery, which I already know, told me they can remove my old appliance, which I already know etc etc etc then asked me why my old appliance was broken! All leading to the insurance pitch! These are badly scripted insurance sales calls! I am very disappointed that boots

this number rings us daily, every time you answer theres silence then a loud "BEEAAARR" sound and the line goes dead. we are in dorking and 01306 is our local code, presume some spammer/scammer/marketer spoofing the number, or calling from a VOIP number, hoping we d be more likely to answer a local code call. Answered this number. Had to say hello three times before someone who named herself as Lisa said she had a record of me being in a car accident. I said no you have incorrect info. She went quiet for a few seconds then proceeded to say how did the accident happen and I said no you do not have the right information and in the middle of me saying please take my number off your system she just hung up. Tried calling back to complain but surprise surprise the number is not recognised.
