01245191640 I was called on my mobile from this number about an accident I was involved in, I have not been in an accident! Ites from Chelmsford in England, I am in Scotland. I am sure it’s a scam and complete waste of time. It can also be alarming to some people!

SCAM saying HMRC have a tax fraud case against you. Very loud threatening automated message telling you you will be arrested soon if you don't press 1 to call them. Mobile number locator shows as being near industrial site off Mitton Road, Whalley near Blackburn. The intent is to scare vulnerable/older people into making contact, so as to gain access to their PC via remote access. HMRC are aware of this type of scam but I informed them anyway.

Fraud - automated messaging asking me to press 1 to connect to a HMRC fraud officer, saying that if I didn't connect the call then a warrant would be issued for my arrest.

Nearly scammed yesterday by this lowlife scum after posting a Wanted admin Gumtree for a rental property. He used mobile number 07368 376860 and email [email protected] to try and scam £300 deposit from us for keys to rental property. Thank goodness I smelt a rat and asked him for proof of his owning property. He then went quiet. Also gave me Nationwide Building Society, Swindon Bank account details 07-04-36 37618798 Mr H Pike. Police and Nationwide will be informed. Got to stop this scammer now!

When I declined they asked me why I didn't want to renew . My reply was simply cost and they put phone down. They didn't say which company or insurer. To STOP .......We were receiving calls on a daily basis from 0161 237 7500 and the message gives you 0161 236 2565 to be removed from call list. When you dial this number - it does not connect. After some digging on the internet (No1 Accident Claims Manchester) I found another number 0844 844 9199 - does not connect but hey oh two emails:- [email?protected] and [email?protected] Sent them a strongly worded email to get my number removed. Lets see whether it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
