Apparently from Reed Thornton - calling from spanish number. Potential scam if you let it go further than telling them to remove you from whatever list they have -which they won't of course. They can't even bother to make their website redirect http -> https so obviously dodgy.

SPAM My phone showed me that is a spam suspicious call, so I didn't answer it. Blocked it!
Was called this morning about 10am was a recorded message, saying we need your authority to pass payment to amazon of £500, and also about a £1000 that needs authorising, the recorded message was crackling and hard to hear all but i just hung up. then did 1471 to see who it was as they made out it was my bank wanting authorisation.
Fraud this number I believe to be fraud. The caller tells you you have had 205pounds deducted from your card from amazon and another 2,000.00 is about to be taken if this is not you press 1 otherwise press 2.scam

Apparently, a recent survey has revealed that the insulation in our loft is illegal, and if we do not replace it, we will be fined by the Government. When asked how thesurvey was completed. There have been a few today - getting fed up with these scammers ringing constantly. They must be getting very strapped for cash to keep trying to defraud 'unsuspecting' people!! 28 Nov. 2022 (17:33) a chap with Indian accent called me claiming to be from BT to say that my computer may have been compromised and that he could check that for me if I switched it on and he ran a quick check. Complete nonsense of course and an attempted scam. He said he was calling from London but the area code is Falkirk (Scotland).

I'm guessing spam - didn't let them get far to find out as I kept quizzing them about who they were and never confirming who they are supposed to be talking to.
