TAXES / HMRC scam. Robo caller claiming that I'm the subject to tax evasion investigations and a warrant has been issued for my arrest. Pressed a number to speak to someone with a heavy indian accent called Alfred Collins who was a tax investigator for HMRC. I laughed in his ear and hung up.

Indian call center claiming to be O2 and offering me a 30% discount but also asking me to verify that I'm the owner of the phone by text even though they called me. They also wanted me to tell them how much I was paying per month so that they could discount it, if they are from O2 then why would they not know how much I'm paying already? It's a scam, clearly. The caller was a man with a foreign accent. He started to tell me he was calling about my computer but I decided it was a scam, told him I wasn t interested, hung up and blocked the number. I do not generally answer numbers that I do not recognise but as it was 08.30, I thought it could be somthing important.
