Sounds like a call centre of some description. Asked the caller to ring me back when there wasn't 3 or 4 other people talking louder than him sounding like they're sat...

Called me just there at around 8pm and the exact words I heard were "eyelashes on looking all pretty" then they hung up. WTF?

This is an Accident Claims compensation company, who buy telephone numbers from price comparison websites.

First they called tried to confirm that the were speaking to the person they were calling for. Annoyingly they would read back my address. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man. Bunch of scammers. They claim to be different debt collection companies, from different numbers. Been going on for years. You pick up, the automated call kicks in, leaving a message for someone who doesn t exist. In my case, they are always asking for someone called Mr Paul Roberts. I understand a lot of others have the calls asking for the same person, so clearly not an error but a deliberate ploy to get people to respond to the message by pressing "No. 1" on the keypad, which I understand leads to a prem
