01618998447 is not part of the UK numbering scheme but that is the number presented on what sounds like an audo dialled call. Call disconnects on answering

Just received a call from this number which said I had a text message but the message was garbled. Phoned our friend who was in a London hospital thinking it was him and he had sent by accident a text message to our landline which resulted in this call. It must be the message service operated by BT but doesn t appear to work very well.

This number called and as I didn’t answer, they could have left a message. They didn’t, so I assume it was a cold call.

Recorded message thanked me! for calling them. I cut off before I got to hear any more of their nonsense. I guess they want me to call back on their number to enquire about my non-existant call. To my knowledge, I have never had any dealings with Dennis Publishing

I have never had a catalogue. And it can t be from tv license because I live with my mum and she pays all the tv license bill . Caller claimed to be from British Gas. Repeat calls from someone with a very strong accent who was very persistent in obtaining renewal information and bank details. I was very suspicious and do not trust them.

I get several calls a week from this company which I ignore. As it seems they have first names they must be getting this information from phone companies selling lists on. Only my friends, family and phone company know my number AND name.

Asked if I was the bill payer and I said yes. Then he stated a different address to me and I said no that's not this address then he put the phone down? Strange!
