These people are 21st century robbers. They attempt to scam money out of people by scaring them. They ring up claiming that the individuals computer has a virus and charge them for cleaning the computer. Needless to say there is no virus.

Claiming to be EE feedback call for my mobile. Epic fail on so many levels not least their shitty VOIP. OFCOM need to shut down the routes used by fraudsters not leave it to sites such as this to highlight their scams.

Very aggressive when challenged as to who they are - asked 3 times for details of who they are and only did so when told their number would be passed onto police - block or ignore
Claimed to be from Postcode lottery saying I’d won a discount card for supermarkets and that I’d also won a free flight to anywhere in the world. Passed call to her senior who wanted to “activate” the discount credit card and said needed to deposit £1.00 into my account to activate the account. Told her I knew she was scamming me for my bank details and hung up!
Looking like yet another number to terrorise my tranquillity. Watch out for more variants if thus number. I didn't answer but I have blocked it.

I got a call from this number this morning on answering A recorded message (american accent0 started the call saying that a legal writ has been placed on my name I should.... I cut the call and redialled the nr and when I engaged with the operator stating I wasn't pleased with bing subject to legal action the operator put the phone down on me. This guy hacked my friends Facebook and sent me a message saying "hey can I ask you a massive favour? I m having trouble with my PayPal, can I send you my months wages, and meet you for it later?". SCAM alert - ANIC Associates claim that you have a good chance of winning the Missold Solar Panels. Initially it was a no win no fee claim but then they said, it was more complicated so needed to charge £600 for legal document fees via credit card. Nothing is written down. Do not fall for this!!
