Had some rude Asian man answer the phone who told me my loan application had been APPROVED......Interesting because I hadn't made one with 'Now Loan' I proceeded to ask questions...this irritated the idiot on the phone who SHOUTED at me! Definite scam. Claimed (falsely) to be Harry from Carphonewarehous3 in London calling because "we have a special offer on new phones today". I live in Scotland, he's calling from London claiming to be a big phone store. They would never ring me like that, nor you either. How could he have got my number legitimately? Recorded message. Rapid speech. Didn't catch who it claimed to be from, but stated that certain suspicious charges had been made to my account or card. Asked me to press option 1 etc. No doubtI would have been asked for security info in order 'to identify me'.

Government energy discount fraud...click a link asking you to fill in details to apply for your energy discount, I fell for it and gave my personal details and bank card long number and security code at the back..luckily cancelled my card in time...be aware you aren't needing to apply for the energy discount if you're eligible you'll get it paid into your account automatically.

The call was in relation to a card payment. The call seems fradulant as the card type mentioned was visa and this was wrong.
