Asked for me by name. I asked who was calling. He said it was in response to my putting my name down for more information and asked me what kind of investing I was looking to do. I answered "where was it that I put my name down?" *click* he hung up immediately. He never called back (that was yesterday) Very dodgy.

Answered because it showed a mobile number. Same as other reports, caller asked me to confirm that I had been in a car accident that wasn t my fault. I said no, and asked to be removed form the mailing list and not called again. She hung up. Blocked.
Probably a sales call centre as they hang up when on the answerphone.

SCAM / SPAM Missed the call, so called them back a minute later. Got a recorded message congratulating me on installing the Asterisk open source pbx, which is some kind of VOIP service for LINUX. Don't think my regular BT landline will know how that works...
SCAM / SPAM Pretending to be BT informing me that my broadband had been hacked and service woukd be suspended within 24 hours.
If this is such an important service why don't they leave a message with a contact number, or do they expect you to sit next to your phone 24hrs a day?

Caller knew my first name and claimed he was representing Nationwide Bank. As I was expecting an overseas call at that time I said I thought it was suspicious that he was calling me. At that point he disconnected.
This number rang me today. I was not convinced this marketing call was legit. I simply stated I was not interested. He continued to start to ask personal details e.g are you a home owner? I stated again I was not interested in answering his questions and I then put the phone down. Remember people, You Are In Control Of Your Phone!!!!!! If you re unsure if the call is legit, simple hang up!!!! Do not give out any personal info to a stranger that has phoned you.

SCAM / SPAM 01733889904 Rang saying they received my number from the government saying I am in debt, when I said that information like that wouldn't be provided by the government and would be in breach of GDPR they got defensive. Then informed them that my number is on telephone preference service and to remove my number from their computer system. Will wait to see if I get any more calls.
Claimed to be from BT OpenReach. Explained they were contacting people re internent connection. (1) Was asked if internet speed was okay. Replied upload/download speed fine. Was asked for precise speeds. Said I wasn't in front of a computer but upload/download speed fine. Had to say this three times. (2) Was told my area experiencing slow speeds.
