I called back the number after abvout the 10th missed call. They are a company called MJE who want me to make a claim for missold PPI due to a loan or credit card. I didn t take PPI so told them they were wrong. Asked how they got my number, they get their phone list from a company called DLG Marketing. Told them to take me off the list, we ll see if I get anymore calls.

Scammers pretending to be EE again, insisting I upgrade when I ve never even been a customer!

Called me today, I did not recognise the number so waited a little while before I said hello. No answer and the caller hung up.

Just had a call from this crowd, asking if I was the main user of the Microsft windows device in the house. The line was bad and he had to keep repeating himself. I told them I didn t use windows I was a Mac user and they hung up. Definite SCAM,

Missed cclll no messsge left

Missed call from this number which left voicemail, very heavy African accent, female automated voice, sounded a bit garbled. Said someone was "filing a lawsuit against you, press one now to talk to your caseworker" I ve heard of this scam doing the rounds, I ve now blocked this number and registered it with "Should I answer" app as dangerous scam.

Another load of con artists using the phone to try and extort money from gullible people. In my eyes these deadbeats are only one step from criminal. Who in their right mind would do business or give bank details over the phone, and to a unknown voice at an office or house with no address? You don t know these people, you don t know their location, you don t know their reputation, you don t even know what country they are ringing from!This is just telephone SPAM. Car accident malarkey. Called even though I m registered with the TPS. Must be using random numbers as didn t know my name.

Uk area code 01601 is not currently in use, therefore the number is fake.
