SCAM / SPAM - Used maiden name, commented on the colour of my hair, which features in my email address. The call was regarding my registration with the financial markets. So many alarm bells ringing here!! Take care, these are scammers without a doubt!
Silent call
When answering the call, a pre-recorded male voice told me that my NI number would be under investigation, because several fraudulent activities had been registered. It then urged me to press 1 for further information. I terminated the call immediately. However, this does not seem a legitimate phone number from which such a call would be made. Therefore, I am classing this as scam/fraud.

Well, after a couple of days of peace and quiet from this number.. they ve started again, with a VENGEANCE! I have reported them to EVERYONE they can be reported too, and now, im on plan B! FYI if you re on "talktalk" you can set up "last caller barring" which allows you to block up to 10 numbers from ringing you :) and its FREE!! im in the process of setting this up now, and hopefully it will stop all this nonsense! Received a text message yesterday stating that they were unable to process my Direct Debit. Supposedly from My 3. I do not use My 3 !! Its a scam.
