Keep being called by this number around 2-3 times a day during working hours (so can t pick up). It s so, so annoying and I wish they d just stop calling! No idea where they ve got my number from, but (being a regular victim to nuisance calls) if I don t recognise the number I won t answer. Would love to know who this is.

Claimed to be from the telephone preference marketing service. Had lots of my details, tried to tell me that his company worked for BT. I got fed up. Told him I wasn t prepared to give him any details about card details etc and I could do what he was trying to do on my phone - which is exactly what I was going to do with his number. Notice I had a lot of calls from odd numbers today so perhaps the scam is to make lots of nuisance calls and then phone up and offer the service..

Automated call pretending to be from VISA regarding a charge on your card.
Caller tried to get me money for the car crash I had been in recently. I haven't been in a car crash for 10 years, I don't own a car or even a driving license. I suspect this is a scam number phishing for bank details.
