Seems like a new scam number just called me offering me a discount on my existing T-Mobile contract and when I said I knew they were talking rubbish and must be a scam as I don't have T-Mobile. Guess what they put the phone down, but not before asking me to confirm my details which of course I didn't do.

Recorded message supposedly from BT saying that there had been suspicious activity on my phone line and internet connection, "Press 1 to speak to someone to resolve this issue". I work in a church office and I'm sure this was a potential scam.

My wonderful BT 6500 stops my phone ringing everytime these fishing scammers call, and they call a lot normally after 8pm. Wish I could give them payback.
SCAM. Usual crap of an obvious overseas caller claiming to be from my bank. I happily wasted her time for nearly 20 minutes and then asked her "oh, what's the name of my bank?"; unsurprisingly she couldn't answer so I left her with some insults. I needed a coffee break anyway ????.

I had a call from this number offering a new boiler for £17 per month. Pressed 5 and ‘Shona’ asked “how may I help you ?” I said “Hello Shona, before we start could you tell me who you are and how you got my number?” she said “err, no!” and hung up.

I have just had a call from this number, when I answered they called me by my first name, said where they were calling from and I said I have not been involved in any accident nor has any member of my family. Cost 1.50p per minute without even telling you in advance. I attempted to call the back and found a ?5 charge on my phone bill, after only getting through to answer machine, bill NEVER again!! BEWARE do not call this number or you ll pay!!
Really annoying silent phone call to my mobile. If someone has misdialed then at least apologise and then hang up, don’t leave it open for 5-8 seconds on a silent call then cut it off. Not even a mobile number which they usually are.
