PPI Spam Call

I just got cold-called from 01315169957 offering financial help with installing new windows. The whole thing sounded totally bogus.

The person knew my name

I have also had the silent and then Goodbye calls from this number. Today I spoke to two of their agents on two seperate calls. The company is called Consumer Care Direct based in Manchester and claim to save money for you, as long as you give them some. After telling the first caller that I would be reporting them to TPS I received another call 3 minutes later from an arrogant agent calling himself Victor. Persistent and annoying cold caller which keeps using different numbers to try and flog solar energy panels.

Called me on a very bad stuttery line claiming to be BT about my internet connection, i asked him his Telephone Number and it was different to the one i got when i called 1471. Scam Caller.

Although I didn t request the call, they were well informed and helpful - possibly because we are currently investigating changing our heating system. Offered to call back to arrange a suitable visit. I await to see if their advice is useful/good.
