TAXES / HMRC Automated call saying I owe tax and to press 1

Asian voice called me claiming to be from EE, offering 40% off charges. I could see it was an Inverness number so said I didn't believe he was from EE, at which point he said I could fcuk myself! Number now blocked.

Robo call claiming to be visa security 400 pounds will be taken from my account!!! Ect Ect This is Not visa security Ignore it, like I have.

caller claimed to be from my (unspecified) mobile network. When I asked them to confirm which one, they hung up.

SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. Fraud call. They said that they were calling from Santander Bank, they asked to speak to my husband who passed away 2 years ago. Informed Santander.

They said they were calling from HMRC, however HMRC never calls mobile numbers. Exactly 24 hours laters calls begin claiming to be whatever mobile provider your voicemail said you were with (fake dealer scam).
