Called me at 06:39 on Saturday 17 December 2022, which was annoying. No-one on the other end. May just have been accidental or may have been something else.
I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything. Automated voice call from this number on Tues 27th June regarding a "transfer from my account in the sum of £1000+ and a transaction to Amazon in the sum of £300+" and I was invited to press button 1 to authorise both transactions which I obviously did not do. There was no description of which "account" involved in either the transfer or the Amazon transaction. Checking all accounts confirms NO cash transfer and NO transaction with Amazon.

Fraud - I think. A male with I think and Asian accent called from this number. He asked for me by name and said he was calling from Microsoft then asked if I was the main user of the computer in my hone. I asked "Which Computer is that then?" and he hung up. Another number check site has lots of people checking this number and it appears to be from various different places so I think it must be an attempt to access a persons computer or something like that.

It seems as though this could be a nuisance caller. My husband and I have both had calls from this number today, on our mobiles, while on holiday in France. It's slightly worrying, as we have many friends and relatives in the Manchester area. Our phones silence any unknown numbers but as no voicemail messages were left we are assuming the calls weren't important.
Called and said it's about my O2 account. Very loud sounds of a call centre in the background. I asked who's calling and there was no response. After a while they put the phone down.

SPAM they called saying they are BT Cloud but they aren't. They called on behalf of BT and they have no information of current contracts with BT etc...
SCAM Got 2 calls today, first one at 8am with a man with a indian accent who wasn't sure what name to call the caller and second one a woman more confident but as soon as I said that I was going to report her number at Action Fraud she started to panic. I made her believe that she was recorded and she change her tone of voice to terminate the call asap. Seems that they only hire Indian people behind this number.
The send you a text stating that there is an issue with your last Three mobile payment. My 17 year old daughter clicked on the link and 'Updated' her details. A couple of hours later her bank rang her to say she had attempted to purchase car tyres to the value of £650.00 luckily, she only had about £10 in her account at the time. Still very inconvenient having to have her account cancelled and to wait for a new card to be issued.
